all i want is my two front teeth or atleast for them to feel normal

I have my top  four front teeth crowned about three years ago. One crown had an issue with the glue and fell off. Ironically after it did that tooth needed a root canal. There was no decay, the tooth just went. That tooth was completed 8 weeks ago and has yet to fully settle down. It has some mild pain when you press on it with your finger, none with hot cold or tapping. The rot canal was done as soon as the tooth hurt, the tooth was dead and infected, but no abscess.

My other front tooth had a root canal before the crowns were done. 3 years or so ago. Had an abscess in there from a failed pulp cap. I let it go, only found the abscess on a dental xray, had no symptoms. Now out of the blue this tooth hurts a little when you tap on it. No other pain other than that. Tooth has a post. Both teeth showed clean on the x-rays taken 6-8 weeks ago.

I am afraid that I may have fractured it due to my tooth grinding.

I am going nuts over these two teeth. My endodontist and dentist are on vacation. I meant to get my mouth gaurd re fit before she left but could not do to job conflicts. It has been two weeks and these teeth are taking there toll on my mental health. I many eat soft foods and or cut the food up. Once you knock out a front tooth you never trust them again. They do not ache to a serve degree, I am not taking Ibuprofen or anything. I do feel rather fatigued and under the weather. I would have liked to have gone to the dentist to at least rule out or confirm the worst case scenarios. Being a nervous dental patient to begin with makes this oh so fun.  I am waiting to here either re endo or extraction, *cringes*

I called the endo office earlier this week, before she went on vacation for new years, and they told me to watch the recent root canal and to call if it got any worse, swelling, real pain, etc etc. This of course was before my other front tooth decided to get in on the game.

Suggestions would be helpful.

Sorry to make you cringe but it does sound like it may need an endo retreatment soon.  A root canal should be symptom free after its done so if there is a flare up of symptoms, it can indicate a failure of the root canal.  Its possible it may not be the root canal's fault and it could be a fracture instead but I can't say.  If it is a fracture, then depending on how extensive the fracture is, it may need to be removed and replaced.

I actually made it to the endo new years eve. Full battery of tests. The teeth felt much less achy in the morning, I went anyway. X-rays were clean, gum looked proper. Crowns were tight etc etc. they are still feeling good today days later. I think I also have some sort of sinus infection / chronic winter allergies and cold.

My endo is doing the wait and see. She believes it was a result of my teeth grinding. On Tuesday of this week I am going into my normal dentist. I can get my night guard refit and some small cavity filled.

I personally was expecting something horrific to be wrong as well. Going in and getting it checked out took a lot of mental strain off which is helping. Again if the problem keeps reoccurs or what have you I will be back to see her again.

Glad the news wasn't horrible.  Hopefully the nightguard will settle down your problems.
