bad breath

I take a medication that gives me dry mouth causing bad breath. It annoys people. I use all kinds of toothpaste and mouth washes, and nothing helps. I dont know what else to do. what do you recommend?

i too have dry mouth from meds. i tried everything from mouth wash for dry mouth to prescription mouth rinses. nothing worked as i still take my nebulizer and oxygen. i have found that those round peppermint candies and sour mouth drops have helped somewhat. the best thing they have told me is to drink enough water. when you think you've drank enough you're about 1/2 way to the optimum quantity. i carry one with me 24/7 and not to be cool, but somedays i can't complete a long sentence with out a sip of water or my mouth will get sooo dry i can't speak or my tongue will get cemented to the roof of my mouth. it is a very common side effect of just about every drug made today , but especially affects people wiyh COPD and other respitory diseases
