i am 37 years old and recently my gums have started to bleed when i brush my teeth . i have visited yhe local dentist and they have told me that my gums are shrinking and if unchecked i will loose my teeth ..... they offer nhs tretment that is not so successful (as they have informed me )or there is the private treatment where i will recieve 2 antibiotic injections at the cost of 300 pounds and more chance of success ....
am i being scarmungered or is this all true ..
my teeth seem to be ok at the moment .
any advice will be greatly appreciated

If I were you I would seek a second opion or preferably, I would make an appt. with a periodontist.
