bone chips

I recently had all my teeth pulled and i have several bone spurs coming out.
Is there any way to speed up the bone chips coming out so i can wear my detures?

Seeing an oral surgeon to smooth the sharp edge of alveolar bone is advised. The procedure(osteoplasty) is generally performed under local anesthesia, post-op pain is generally minimal.
