burning gums and sinus problems

burning gums and sinus problems

I have burning gums particularly on roof of mouth and just behind top two front teeth, i feel as if the sockets or roots of my teeth are also burning. It is agrivated by hot foods and weird as it may sound when i have an empty stomach, as if stomach acid is radiating into my mouth and burning, even though its physically not. I've had sinus problems and infections in the past and wonder can this infection spread to the gums through the soft tissue between nasal passages and mouth. My doctor always said any nasal infection was quite high up before but now its as if it has moved down, creating a different feeling and dental problems. I have just finished a course of antibiotics for it which eased the pain and symptoms but it has returned as soon as the course finished, i've had this problem for nearly two months now, i realise i must visit my dentist asap but currently cannot afford to for a few weeks, any insights or help would be appreciated.
