burning gums but no toothache?

I have fillings in all of my molars/wisdom teeth, & from time to time the bottom left ones will get sore for a couple of days but it's usually nothing serious. well, yesterday it was worse than usual so i put a warm teabag in my cheek to see if that would help. long story short, i went to brush my teeth about 30 minutes after i put on the tea & my gums in that area had turned blood red & were bleeding pretty badly whenever i put the brush to them. it also hurt so bad i could hardly see, but not the tooth itself, just my gums.

i started rinsing with salt water every 2 hours. that helped with the pain & made a bit of the redness go away, but then my gums became pale with the redness surrounding them. when i woke up this morning my lymph nodes were both pretty swollen & my gums were still discoloured in that one spot so i put another teabag in. at first it hurt like the dickens, but now it just itches. the last time i looked at them the redness was turning dark (like old blood) & there was a green line circling the bubble of pain i've been trying to describe.

I don't have insurance & i'm in college so i can't afford to miss too many days or spend too much money. I'm trying to get an appointment at a discount clinic, but until i can get some professional help is there anything i can do to keep myself at a functional enough level to go to class? thank you in advance!

I would stop using the tea bag I have no idea what you are trying to accomplish by using it.
