cavities

so ive been sick for about 2 months now. and about 2 months ago I was chewing gum and I had a cavity for about a year or more, that broke while chewing my gum. I noticed that after that I started feeling sick about a week after that. I started having breathing problems, chest pains, weakness and dizziness. at first I thought it might be something just out of no where. I ben checked for many other things but I didn't think my tooth had any thing to do with my tooth. I did have a root canal done and felt a little better, stopped getting dizzy. my dentist did not prescribe me anything. but I went to my doc about a week after and she prescribed me amoxcicilin for ten days. I felt ok but still to this day, im feeling the pains and shortness of breath can it have anything to do with my tooth breaking.  I could really use some advice please

thank you.
