curious

I just found out I have an infection in my wisdom tooth,  which I am now on anti-biotics for.  I had oral sex with my boyfriend the night before and I am wondering if my infection could cause him any problems?

I seriously doubt it, Kitty, especially since you are on antibiotics. But.............and isn't there always a "but!" I'm not a dentist nor a doctor so I can't say with 100% certainty that there is no risk to your b/f. Dentist are very much like doctors in that they have heard just about everything and your question, while you may find it embarrassing to ask, is very valid and your dentist is a professional who can give you the correct answer.
If you just can't bring yourself to ask your own dentist, while this may seem a bit "sneaky," you could call another dental office and ask them. In the meantime, I would suggest holding off on the oral sex until the infection is cleared up.
My advice is to bite the embarrassement bullet and ask YOUR dentist..........he knows what kind of infection you have and if your b/f is at any risk. Trust me, he won't bat an eye.
