discomfort with crown

i  had temp crown work on nov 9 was having discomfort no pain but a tightness when i try to sleep i called my denist she said give it time they called said my pemp was in i had it put in the next week she put my perm in as a temp because still having also had a lot of bleeding she said give it a month or untiil i dont feel any thing the crown is lower 18 ihave to take an adil almost every niight it seems atfer i eat dinner and brush it acts it feels heavy and a little tight some times my gum is sensitive also my crown seems like it not right it feels akward i have had 2 other crowns with no trouble i have gone back to have bite adjusted my denist retired went to him for 18 years ii he did other work i had this crown done it was a large old filling iwould like to know what is a normal time to calm a tooth down iits been 5 weeks ihave been using a tooth paste for sensitive  teeth i am seeing her she wants to check it should isee some one else ihad to pay total when she did work anything you could tell me would be great   thank-you
