i have no question but just wanted to say that unfortunately dry socket takes a while to heal. i've gone through hell with my wisdom tooth extraction. i developed dry socket after a couple of days. i could feel my heartbeatHeart palpitations Ultrasound, normal fetus - heartbeat Ultrasound, ventricular septal defect - heartbeat throbbing through my gum. i also had facialFacial paralysis Facial tics Facial trauma muscle spasmsCoronary artery spasm Croup Eyelid twitch Facial tics Hand or foot spasms Urge incontinence Vascular spasm & ghost tooth gum pain. i had this lower right side wisdom tooth taken out 4 & a half weeks ago. i still can't chew on that side. the hole is still there....but it IS healing. it's just taking so long. 8 days after i had this procedure i had to go back to the dentist & get the wound packed with this clove mixture. it did help immensely. it wasn't the cure-all.....but it got me past alot of pain. 2 weeks after i had this done, part of that mixture fell out & it was hard & bitter......it unleashed a small river of old pus & blood (it was like a scab, a wet scab) & grossed me out but a few hours later i felt so much relief that i cried. hang in there.....it's really bad for a while.....but it does get better. i'm proof. according to my dentist i'm the one person in a thousand who has this happen so badly....but i'm here to tell you it gets better.......even when you think it won't. don't panicPanic disorder Panic disorder with agoraphobia....have patience....it DOES get better.
