please can I have some advise it really hurts when i clench on ll4 salt helps.what do I do?
My apologies, when I bite on ll4 it pricks somewhere which is why i'm going for the root treatment option and it feels too proud.......
I aslo have a small white ulcery lump on gum near to lip which I belive shows a problem it hurts to even breathe and my jaw feels dislocated and makes a noise in my ear when i go to clench it is not tmj I have other problems........
I have done this and they wont flaming do anything, I can feel a nerve trapped It's not decay it is related to trauma caused on ll5 with a crown, maybe there is a small crack or damage to the root if antiobiotics were required then i guess it's a root problem also i cannot quite unblock my ear on the left its as though a nerve is trapped or pinched......I am going to have it root treated to see if it helps that is my only option I believe it hurts every day as soon as I open my eyes.....
Orofacil surgeons are not helpful and lazy if you ask me I have a lot more resonse from the dentists they are prepared to root treat and see if it makes a difference what other option do I have..........Would pulpitis give off an ear and gland problem I am convinced its a nerveproblem though??? I have seen an anaesthetist who has prescibed nerve membrane drugs I will try for one week only then i'm having root treatment
Assuming toothll4 refers to upper left first bicuspid, An endodontist is supposed to be able to confirm if the tooth is afflicted with pulpitis. If the tooth tested vital and no decay or crack detected, root canal treatment is contraindicated. Further investigstion of the source of pain is warrented. Seeing an orofacial pain specialist is advised.
Nothing on xray or mri......
Am I going to make things worse by root treating tooth i grind lots on tooth and waer a mouthguard daily to stop me biting on it......it's something underneath at bottom of tooth annoying me?????? need your help
Yes I dont doubt that tmj comes into it but the ll4 is sensitive to hot & cold also on the ll4 tooth it hurts to bite on the back of tooth and I feel I have trapped a nerve there also as cannot unblock my ear on the left? Do you think root treatment will hinder or help me?
Your descriptions appear more related to temporomandibular disorder. If there is structural pathology of offending tooth, appropriate dental treatment is delivered accordingly. Seeing a tmj specialist may improve tmj related symptoms.
