I had two of my last left molars extracted also.  I was in pain for several days.  Actually yesterday was day 2, and I went to see the dentist b/c I feared "dry socket" too.  But I also had symptoms of my left ear and jaw pain too.  I went to see him and he said there was no dry socket.  Even though I saw a hole back there. But I'm feeling a bit better today.  I'm on amoxicillin and Anaprox DS (naproxen double strength).  I can't take narcotics like Vicodin or Tylenol w/ codeine b/c it makes me throw up.  How does it look back there and did you have stitches?
