front incisor chipped cavity

Hi,  this is quite embarassing, but I have a chipped incisor that has developed a cavity.  It really is not noticable to others, but its very noticable to me.  It really gives me confidence issues.  I need to get it fixed, but I dont have insurance. I need to know what they will do to fix it so I can save up the money.  It chipped almost 5 yrs ago, and just at the beginning of this yr I noticed a small cavity developing.  It just keeps getting worse and worse.  It doesn't hurt at all, but it's quite ugly.  My question is just how will they fix it? Will it be filled or will it be more serious and costly?

Seeing a dentist to fix the tooth is most cost-effective at this time. If you lost this tooth, it will cost you more to replace this missing tooth.

The dentist will have to make a xray and see if you actually need a root canal. In this case you ma need a crown. It's pretty expensive. Both may be $2000. Hope you have some insurance. But if you don't need root canal then just a filling there.
All is in denist hand and decision. Cannot predict with only a picture.
In my opinion a filling should do it.
