gagging on upper dentures

Is there a simple solution to this gagging problem besides "get used to it" ? I don't think it is that simple. I've had them adjusted and I'm afraid that the dentist will cut too much if I go back. My dentures fit good but I can't handle the gagging. I have a terrible gag reflux. HELP!!!

cant even do the impression for dentures without pullin it out and gaggin got 5teeth left havnt been out fot 9 years help

Buy some marbles.  Practice 1 hr a day holding one marble in your mouth without gagging.  Once you've mastered that, try 2 marbles.  Then 3.  When you can hold 3 marbles in your mouth without gagging, you will have conquered your gag problem.  Hope this helps you!!!
