Why not I reglue my brokenBroken bone Broken or knocked out tooth tooth? ... it broke on the corner .. is not really that unconfortable .. and it could be glued back in place ... ? why not? ... how can i find some adhesive ... dental suppy houses won't sell small amounts or because i am not a registed dentist ...
The dentist probably would reattach it just like you want to. I assume that the product isn't sold openly because it would be used in the wrong circumstances ultimately making a persons dental health worse. While I don't recommend it, I heard that a temporary filling is available at rite-aids eckards, I didn't look into it myself, I didn't want any junk in the wat when the dentist examined my tooth. I assume "temporary filling" probably has a lower catalyst ratio making it not as adhesive and long lasting. I also assume that the temporary filling is the same basic resin used in bonding but with the concentration, I presume, of the catalyst altered. This would probably result in your chip coming off sooner if you do it yourself and it potentially becoming lost.
