gum problems

early today my bottom front gums started feeling irritated it feels like it hurts and itchy i tried brush it feels alrite. if i use the tip of my fingers and rub it has a relieved senstation, but i dont know what to do and i cant stand it. what should i do?

I could be anything from minor trauma (like a scrap from hard food) to periodontal disease.  If your symptoms do not resolve in 2 weeks, you should go see your dentist.  Keeping the area clean will help a lot.
