A few days ago, I noticed a tender spot on the roof of my mouth. I looked in there with a flashlight and mirror and no sores or lesions were present. To the touch the only thing i could notice as a small area of slight swelling or a very low, flat bump. It is a ver small area just left to the midline and on the midline. To look at it...I don't notice anything abnormal. In the morning after not exploring it all night...it feels ok, just slightly tender, but only if i am feeling around for it. After i've poked and proded it, the area feels more irriated and then subsiides again. It not painful, just a little tender and I can feel a little height to the area...swelling maybe?
Could this be tori growing? I have it in my lower arch already, have had it all my life. I am a healthy 30 year old female. I looked online to research this and came up with nothing. It looks nothing like oral cancer picture or descriptions.
can you advise?
