Is it ok to take azithromycin while taking methadome 110mg. for opiate withdrawel abset in mouth.next to tooth.
I would recommend speaking to your GP. There is a major interaction between these two drugs. Speak to you GP regarding alternatives.

Hi,
Any bacterial infection can lead to collection of pus in the tooth can cause tooth abscess. A tooth infection should be treated appropriately to prevent spread of infection. The usually preferred antibiotics are amoxicillin, clindamycin, penicillins and metrogyl.Azithromycin may raise serum methadone levels and/or increase the effects of methadone.
