Your oral surgeon probably did right thing. Tooth ache is not always caused by dental pathology. You are probably suffering from non odontogenic toothache. Seeing an orofacial pain specialist is advised.

Wow, I supposed I thought I would have a little more support and a little less of what I'm hearing.  I'm not stupid, Of course I met with my family dentist first, which (other than the unexpicable shift in my jaw line) was relucant too put any teeth, without having complete, mostly becaosue it wouldn't correct my bite.  Then on to the oral surgeon.  He offered a a solution (somewhat ) that would leave my family comletely.

Has anyone been through this?

I don't mean to be rude, but this a very sensitive  issue.  I knowhas nothing to due with dental, but rather the hinged aspect of my jawline.  I have been searching out a maxxillofacial surgeon who actally covers midercare.  Wish me luck
