jaw related to wisdom teeth

Once the wisdom teeth are removed, ares there jaw issues later in your senior years?  Thus, does the jaw begin to break down or is not as strong.

I believe initially its not as strong only cause there's a hole in your jaw where your wisdom tooth was once but once the bone fills in, it should be fine afterwards.  Only if there was a complication after the wisdom teeth removal that impaired the healing would I think there would be weakness in the jaw.
