least toxic crown for back teeth

by Jon8, Sep 15, 2008 11:53AM
What is the least toxic crown and cement for # 14 uppper chewing tooh that is now sporting a temp crown?

I unfortunatly have several silver fillings in back teeth for years ago. Not feasible to make changes on them at this time. Porcelain is not a good oprtion- plus it is still supported by toxic elements/metals for support. Do gold crowns harbor the same internal elements /metals?

high noble gold is a good choice. gold is the most durable and causes less impact on surrounding teeth and gums. i have a gold crown that was put in 30 years ago and is still in great shape.
