lower third molar extraction

lower third molar extraction

Yesterday, I had my right lower third molar extracted. As it turned out getting it out wasn't that easy and the surgery lasted for an more than 90 mins instead of  promised five. surprisingly i have no pain only swelling and itching... is it alright??

then there is something spiky and sharp there, where my wisdom tooth used to be this thing is hurting my tongue all the time... (my tongue is bleeding becuse of it) and apart from that there is very bizarre feeling in my right ear. that's not quite a pain a itching it's more like having water in it... Is it natural...

the last but not the least when can i have something to eat as today is my second day without anything to eat but few glasses of water and cocktail of antibiotics and painkillers (ibuprofen, codeine, metronidazole, amoxicicline)

Sorry your extraction was painful.  How is your pain now?  Has it subsided and has the bleeding stopped?  I had my molar extracted a couple of days ago  (actually it was one that I had root canal done, but it turned bad).  Today is my third day and I'm still bleeding slightly.  I hope all the medicine will help you recover soon.  As for mine, I'll wait and see.  It still has some ache on the gum where the tooth was extracted.  I was told it's normal, but for how long it's normal, I don't know.
