lump on tongue

Hi
I had one wisdom tooth removed six days ago. My tongue has a lump on the side of it and it is very painful I am finding it very hard to swallow food, my throat and gums are also very sore. I have been taking painkillers and rinsing my mouth with salt water, i tried some bonjela today to ease the pain. I also feel very tired and depressed. I had sedation for the extraction, I also had only been back from leave four days and was still a bit jet lagged, I am wondering if all this is making things worse. I would appreciate your advice,

The lump may well be reactive lymphoid tissue. Administration of antibiotics is advised.
