mouth issues and lymph node swelling?

mouth issues and lymph node swelling?

I'm usually in the anxiety forum... I have this lymph node that swells... or seems to swell, and hurts a little bit... like when i turn my head a certain way etc... i know im not sick.. and i seem to notice this node once a month... i self obsesses over it. i think this is what has caused me to dive into my bad anxiety... =/

im just trying to find an answer/possibility about this...

i have sensitive teeth, and i know i have some cavities.. but they don't bother me that much.
i also have 4 wisdom teeth that are almost all the way in... but they do not seem to bother me.

is it possible though, even though my teeth don't hurt... that my lymph node could be reacting to the cavities or bad dental hygiene?

the dr told me that the lymph node seemed to be fine by feeling it... and he said he doesnt think i have cancer (b/c as a hypochondriac... thats what i automatically assumed) he also did an x-ray to give me peace of mind... but didnt help... b/c it still comes and goes... about once a month..

and i think an x-ray was just to ease my mind.. but i dont think an xray would show a lymphnode or cancer would it?

Thanks so much! Hope someone responds. =)

Regional lymphadonopathy is generally associated  with infection. Rarely, it may be caused by lymphoproliferative disorder. Have a comprehensive medical and dental evaluation is advised.
