For awhile now every morning when I wake up and I look inside my mouth there is this white stuff that builds up on my cheek. This happens when I have been during stuff during the day too my mouth sort of gets dry and this stuff just appears. My mouth feels dry when I am sleep and eating certain types of food made my tongue feel like it was burning it only happened with things that contained salt. It all seems to have started around the time that  my filling on a rear tooth fell out. hope you can help.... thomas

Dear Thomas, I don't think there is any connection between your lost filling and the burning sensation or the dry mouth you are experiencing. The white stuff you describe may be from the dry mouth. It would be a good idea to get it checked out by an oral surgeon.
