no pain pills after two wisdom teeth extractions
Is it normal for a dentist to extract two wisdom teeth(one top, one bottom on the same side) which took about 80 minutes and required sutures to only prescribe motrin 800 mg for pain.  I am 8 hours later and in quite a bit of pain and he went out of town for a week.  I can probably bear with it but it just seemed odd to me that he was given me only motrin for pain after such a big procedure

yeah i got my wisdom teeth out and they put me out completely for it so i bet if you ask for better pain medication if yours is not adequate then they will probably give it to you.  But if your teeth haven't full emerged then the procedure will take longer.
