hello for about a week mayb my tongue and throat has been getting numb (not so numb that i cant talk or feel) but it gets tingly and stuff. happens all day and just about today my mouth started getting a numb feeling and it is scaring me i went to the doctors they did a chest xray on me and checked my mouth and said nothing is wrong its just my anxiety but for a week?! she gave me a antibiotic and im taking it but it just started so i dont know how well its doing what im asking if do you think i could have oral cancer? or any other kind of cancer? there are like white things on my tongue near the back...its not patches i dont think its just like a layer of white stuff that i can scrub off kinda

I do not know if you are on any medications that might cause the numbness, but I doubt that you have oral cancer. But that being the case I strongly recommend that you  see an oral surgeon for an exam.
