The upper left 16 tooth has shifted over the years, narrowing the gap.
Given my history of actinomycosis I was adviced not to put an implant and the space is too narrow for a bridge. Orthodontic braces were advice I will have to wear them for a year.
A dentist has suggested I get a one dental crown covering tooth 14 and 16. It will be made long enough to cover the space left by the extracted tooth.
I am wondering if I should go ahead and get it done.
Will it pose any risk of infection to me given that my actinomycosis?
