osmf

I have been suffering from osmf for 4 years pls suggest me the best treatment for osmf
I able to open my mouth nearly 25to 30mm

doc has suggested me better to go for laser surgery, but I am very worried about it. Could you please tell me is it good to go for laser surgery are there any complications in this procedure? and who is better for it a dental surgeon or ent surgeon? pls gve u r best suggestions, thanking u

Well, it would be best to consult with your own doctor who knows your case better than me.  

I would say that if you feel comfortable with your doctor, then you should follow their recommendation of laser surgery.  Have they tried other, non-invasive treatments at all?  You may want to discuss with them and ask them what they think is best.

I don't treatment OSMF so I'm not as familiar with the treatments.  I did some research and there is only one study which showed improvement with a laser treatment.  But I can't find anything which states its the treatment of choice.

Its always better to consult with your own doctor rather than any one else  because your own only doctor knows the case than any one else.
