pain after root canals

pain after root canals

In the past 6 months I have had root canals done on all my first molars.  The teeth had not very deep composite fillings. All the teeth started to bother me within months of eachother.   When the dentist opened the teeth they were all totally neucrotic.  He told me they were pretty straight forward root canals.  Now 2 months ago i have been having pain form all the root canal teeth that jumps aroundall the time.  The pain is sometimes a pressure or dull ache discomfort but never really a throbbing pain.  I seen a endodontist and he really didn;t have any straight forward answers but to retreat them.  I was put on a antibiotic but didn't help at all.  Do I retreat them all?  What are the odds of all 4 going bad.  What could it be?

I would think that the odds are very high that allo these teeth would hurt you after having the root canal therapy.I would retreat the tooth that seems to be the most symptomatic. If the pain persists in the other teeth then you would have no choice but to do the others.
