pain inback capped lower back tooth,

pain inback capped lower back tooth,

I have been to my dentist complaining of aching in a back lower capped double tooth.  He said it looked clean.  The ache is intermittant - does not throb and can eat on it - though I think my gums are receding.  This has been going on for a few weeks on and off.  The degree of discomfort staying about the same though.  I am using corsdyll which usually helps.

My question is that I expect to have to have a cataract op on Wednesday -  Should I need an extraction or capping..
How soon after this op could I go back to the dentist if necessary

I don't imagine it should be any issue with any dental treatment.  You may want to ask your surgeon who is performing the cataract in case he has any reservations regarding dental treatment after cataract surgery.
