I believe it is necessary to determine if one or both of these teeth need root canal therapy. This type of consistent pain is unacceptable, the increase in the pain when you lay down is indicative of a nerve problem.
the nerves may be inflamed. this can be reversible or not reversible. One or both of the teeth may need rot canal therapy. perhaps the preparations went to close to the nerve(s)
