I had a crown put in this morning because a piece of my tooth broke off a few weeks back. I have been wearing a temporary crown for the past 3 weeks and avoiding chewing on it. After the procedure was done, I was told I should be able to eat normally after 1 hour. Now, after 12 hours, I am still not able to chew on the side that had the new crown because it hurts to chew on (it's sensitive to pressurePressure ulcer). My questions are:
1. Is this normalNormal saline flush that there's sensitivity after crown fitting?
2. If so, how many days should I expect before the sensitivity goes away and I can start chewing normally on the affected side?
3. Is there any symptom I should watch out for that might indicate a root canal problem?
