pimple/growth on tongue tip

I am towards the end of a pregnancy and have a pimple/growth on my tongue tip that seems to be sticking around longer than any pimple should (about 4-5 weeks now) It doesnt hurt that much but is very annoying and causes me to bite on it which makes it bleed. What can this be? Is this something to be concerned about. It is about the size of a pencil eraser and at times looks white while at other times looks clear with white rim.
