post extraction

Im a 20 year old female with overcrowding /overbite problem. I will have braces in a few months, but before the dentist said i needed to have 9 teeth removed( 1 baby+4 premolars+4 wisdom). On Tuesday, I went to have my 4 premolars+1 baby tooth pulled. Today is friday and it is still SUPER PAINFUL!!! the pain is NOT located at the extraction sites, it is located on a surrounding tooth. If google(( U.S. Tooth Numbering Chart ("Universal" system) )) is correct, i had tooth 21 removed BUT the pain is located on tooth 22 - which was NOT pulled. its a strong shooting pain, as if the nerve was damaged. the dentist didnot prescribe me any medication, but thank God my mom is a nurse so she was able to get me Motrin 600mg to soothe the pain, but it does not work very well. I have to take it every 4 hours but honestly it doesnt help that much, the pain is still there. what could the diagnostic be? Is this pain normal? Should I contact my dentist? Also, the right part of m jaw is still a little sensitive and swollen, i cant open my mouth completely and also i cant eat solid food because the pressure of my teeth hurts too much.

2nd issue: as i mentionned earlier, the dentist is planning on removing my wisdom teeth. The thing is, the one on top are partially out and the ones on the bottom jaw are not out, and he mentionned that they will not come out at all. So my question is, WHY is it necessary to have them out in that case?? I mean, i dont see how they could intervene in the overcrowding issue and how they would cause problems for the future braces. WHat is your view on this? Is my dentist trying to make $ of this or is this intervention really needed?
