receeding gum under bridge is it bone also ?

have a bridge,three teeth connected to natural teeth. has never felt correct, gum under bridge receeding..I think the bone is also. This is the second bridge put in by same dentist. I swear I did not have an "under bite" before..this bridge caused upper teeth to be "pushed" behind the bridge on bottom. I won't bother to return to same dentist. do I need a periodonist to look at the gums and bone? If not for Rx's I take for back pain the dental area would be very very uncomfortable. Can another dentist correct the under bite without braces? How could an impression be taken to replace current bridge when "it" is not allowing teeth to come out from behind other teeth. Anyone have a guess on the cost involved here? any suggestions?

what you really need to do is find a good dentist who can examine you and comunicate well. The nature of your questions shows that you have a low dental IQ (not an insult---you just dont understand what was done in your mouth and the hows and the whys....) You need a complete set of films, some study models, and about 30 minutes of consultation time with an understanding dentist...Go in to your appt with your questions written down.
