red painless spots on tongue

The front part of my tongue has a few dark pink/red bumpy tiny spots. I'm a virgin so don't think they have anything to do with stds. I don't know how long they have been there, I just noticed them 4 months ago. I Have a childhood history of asthma, could that be the cause? Is it something I should worry about? Must I visit a doc?

That's great Miss Purple, your issues get resolved. Hopefully, you will not restart your habit of chewing the chalk and would take proper dental hygiene of regular brushing and flossing.

Are you still chewing on chalk and dirt still?  I would imagine that it may cause the red spots on your tongue but the only way to really know is to stop it and see if it goes away

Yes I brush the area twice daily. Diet? I have a pica problem I have been chewing chalk and dirt since 2007 maybe that might be the cause.

Its hard to say.  I would recommend seeing a doctor just to get it checked out.  Have you tried brushing the area?  Any changes in diet, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc?
