well the other day i was drinking whiskey and i was holding it in my mouth for a while and the next day i felt that the skin in the top part of my mouth peeled off now when ever i eat food or drink something and it touches the top part of my mouth i get this pain that shoots across my mouth I was wondering how long would it take for the skin to heal?

If its just a traumatic injury, it should probably take a few days up to about a week.  As long as the injury isn't too large, mother nature should take care of it.  If it doesn't improve gradually though, I would recommend seeing a dentist to check it out
