skin inside mouth peeling off

A comment. I am reasonably certain that the phenomena of skin peeling from inside my lips is due to an allergic reaction. I actually saw that my lips were swollen after eating potato chips 2 days ago. Today the skin inside all around my mouth has peeled away in strips somewhat like sunburnt skin peeling. It became so soft and loose that my tongue was loosening it and I was able to peel it away. The edges of the dead skin could be seen externally. I shall read all chip labels carefully in future or resist the urge altogether.
