Why do I keep getting small white things in the back of my mouth, I doctor tells me that it's nothing.

Is it a dentist or a medical doctor?  

Are these small white things removable?  Do they fall out or can you spit them out?  Or is it a white thing that's stuck on your tongue/throat?
