sore mouth

sore mouth

over the past few days i have noticed that the roof of my mouth is rather sore.  it varies in intensity through out the day and showed up very suddenly.  i was wondering if this could be caused by a lasting effet of dehydration due to the fact that about 3 days ago (when this started) i started a new job where i wrked mostly outside in the sun and became dehydrated.  i noticed the headache fatigue and slight dizzyness as symptoms of dehydration and thought that this may be the end result oh that.  any advice or guidance in this matter or how to take care of it would be greatly appreciated.  thank you

I haven't heard or learned that in my experience.

Has the pain/soreness improved gradually as the symptoms of dehydration improved as well as has it lingered since?  I would say that if it goes away, I would note at your next dental visit to get it evaluated.  If it worsens or persists, I would recommend seeing a dentist to get it evaluated sooner.
