spots on hard palate and fatigue

Hello.  I am a female in early twenties. I am very concerned about some red spots that recurrently appear on my hard palate.  I first noticed them when I was diagnosed about 8 months ago with mono.  Then they reoccur sometimes one at a time and sometimes quite a few.  They usually go away in no more than two days (sometimes they go away in hours). Sometimes I do not see any for a week or so. To me they look like burst blood vessels underneath the hard palate membrane.  They do not hurt or cause taste changes.  Sometimes I get red spots on my tongue but not as often as the hard palate.  I have also had fatigue for several months with several CBC blood tests coming back normal.  Doctors do no seem to be concerned about it.  I asked one doctor about the hard palate spots and he informed me that he didn't know what it was but it couldn't be too serious since they go away in a matter of days or hours.  I do not use tobacco and I hardly ever drink alcohol.  What could possibly be causing these symptoms?  Does it appear to be anything serious?  Thank you very much.

It is obviously impossible to diagnosis these red spots without seeing them. My suggestion for your own peace of mind, is to see an oral surgeon or an oral pathologist. The last type of doctor is usually associated with a dental residency program in a teaching hospital.
