swolen cheek

I have recently experianced severe tooth ache, so i went to the dentist, they gave me some antibiotics to relive my pain ( for 5days) . I have been on them a day and my cheek has swolen to the size of a golf ball, and i cant get my tooth out till the 3rd May, what should i do to reduce the swelling in my cheek? if there is anything

Continue to take the antibiotics and use icepacks to try to reduce swelling and take either tylonal or motrin if they didn't give you any kind of pain meds. If it persists call dentist you may have to have something lanced if theres an absess (abscess).
