swollen lymph nodes in neck

I was wondeing i have a tooth that shatterd and the dentist wanted to remove it but i didnt have the money to do so, i started taking my antibiotics and now my lymph nodes have swollen in the area of my jaw and neck near the tooth, Should I consult a doctor about this or is this just my body fighting the infection? Plz any advice would be helpful im tired of feeling like someone is gently pushing fingers under my jaw.

If the lymph node swelling is caused by dental infection and the offending tooth is hopeless, extraction is the treatment of choice.
