i have had swollen salivery glands for a couple of months know,i have seen a doctor and a dentist who believe i bite or chew the inside of my cheeks when asleep as there is a white line along the inside of my cheek where my teeth run.i also get tingling in my cheeks,does this all sound normal?

Any swelling is not normal.  The white line, called "linea alba" is normal.  The tingling is not normal.  You may want to consult an oral surgeon.

I have had swollen salivary glands for 3 months now and I have been back and forth to my medical doctor, dentist and now an infectious disease specialist. The swollen gland started on my right side only so my dentist thought maybe I had a blockage and to give it time. So the next thing that happeend was a severe dry mouth (for ashort time taste was affected and lack of appetite too) and also a white coating on my tongue, with mouth sores. The doctor said they are called apthmous mouth ulcers (forgive me if I have spelled that wrong). SO since November I get many of these annoying mouth ulcers that come and go. I have never had that in my life and I am a healthy 39 year old woman. Also now my salivary glands are swollen on BOTH sides so I feel that must eliminate the theory of a blockage now. Would both sides swell if only one side was truly blocked or had a stone? They are the parotid glands that are swollen and mostly there is no pain only occasional pain. The CBC came out fine so now we did another CBC again and a few more tests, like thyroid function. I don't have those results in yet. I have been feeling very cold with a lower than normal body temperature. At night I have chills that eventually subside with no fever. Then sometimes I cannot sleep well and keep waking up. At my gynecologist visit I had a positive result for Candida Albinicans. I feel that result is due to the "thrush-like" symptoms I have orally. So i took fluconisole and I felt much better for a week. So now I asked a friend who told me I should see an oral surgeon for this problem. Would you think that should be my next step? Please help me...Have you heard of any cases that were exactly like this and if so what was the diagnosis? Lisa
