temp crowns

by nicky73, Feb 26, 2008 05:27AM
i had upper six front teeth prepared for crowns.  i had one tooth removed due to infection, but the others where filed for crowns.  My dentist joined all the six temp crowns together to make them stronger.  He says i have to keep this on for 6 weeks.  Been on now for 10 days, but on one side when my lip comes down it catches on the top of the crown.  he also left a gap on the one where i had the tooth removed.  at the back of my mouth i can feel a gap and my tounge catches on the top of the crowns, feels like i might pull it off.  they feel pushed forward quite a bit.  Difficult to eat aswell.  is this normal with temporary crowns.
