tmj and etd

In May I was diagnosed with Eustachian Tube Dysfunction.  After seeing an ENT for 2 months he suggested I had TMJ.  I have undergone treatments for the past several weeks, recently what he called "equilibration" where he ground down my back teeth to get a better fit.  Does anyone know how long it will take to see some results?  My ears still pop when I swallow and they feel full all the time.

If ENT exam finds no pathology plausible to your symptoms, it's highly possible that ear symptoms are related to TMJ issue. The logical approach to tmj is tmj manipulation and tmj orthosis therapy before occlusal equilibration. If positive results achieved , occlusal equilibration may be indicated. Seeing a competent tmj specialist is advised.
