tmj

HI, im not sure where to post this but i think it may belong on this forum.

For the last 2 years i have been getting unilateral chronic daily headahces that are accompanied by light sensitivity, blurred vision/visual disturbances and dizziness. I also suffer frequently suffer from ear pain/ache and a feeling of stuffy ears, however there is no infection there (i ask my dr to check everytime i see him)

The reason i am posting this here is because i am wondering if my jaw is causing the problems. It tends to click/pop and sometimes lock (usually shut although i did wake up one night to find it had locked open) on the same side that i get the headpain on.

I also suffer from bruxism, but cant wear the dental damn the dentist gave me because it seems to make the lock jaw worse.

My drs say the headaches are migraines or anxiety related, however none of teh treatments prescribed to me have helped to stop the headaches which are so bad at times, they are hard to function over, especially with the dizziness.

Could by headaches be the result of tmj?

The headaches could possibly be caused not only by the tmj, but because of the bruxism.  I'm not really sure how to solve the problem though since you can't wear the appliance that the dentist gave you.
