water bubbles

it started last year, when i noticed a bubble inside my lip, right by the front lower teeth. every day i was irritating it with my tongue, occasionally biting it. the bubble would disappear, then come back again. For once i decided not to brake it, but over 3 days it grew into a tight "water ball", which could resist all the biting, it actually increased in shape. My lower lip looked ridiculuoisly huge, everyone thought i had an infection even though it never hurt me. My dermatologist suggested shaving it off & then burning. Now i face the problem again: the small bubbles show up there, but i have my own way of terminating them - i burn them off. Scared for the aftermath of this "procedure" - can the mouth cancer flourish here?
its so uncomfortable to keep going to my dermatologist - she takes $300 every time for the shaving & burning procedure. did i make it worse, perhaps, by taking my own "ways"?

My suggestion is to see an oral surgeon. I do not thinikit is cancer but I feel that the fact that it has reoccurred it should be seen. Home remedies are not appropriate methods of treatment in this case.

I also get the little bubbles on my inner lip, but I am afraid I don't have your self-control - I have never managed to let it grow for more than a day.  If you have gone to a Dr. and this turned out to be something serious, please let me know.  I have been getting them for years, and just pop them with a sterilized needle.
