I have acrilic dentures that I got 3 years ago. In 3 years they broke probably 10 times(!). Now I decided to get new set. I learned that there is such a thing as acrilic dentures with metal frame in it. Does anybody knowes anything about it? Please help!
Thank you. Inna
If you are referring to complete denture, metal framework does not help much. Breakage of complete denture is almost always caused by drop of denture to floor or sink. If you are referring to removable partial denture, metal framework does strengthen the denture significantly. Seeing a prosthodontist is advised.
